Deposit of $______________ = final balance of $_________________ which is due when the puppy is ready to go to his new home at 8­-11 weeks of age. The puppy will be microchipped, all vaccinations up to date and guaranteed to be free of life­-threatening diseases or disabilities and in good health for 72 hours after delivery.  Ravine Acres is not to be held liable for any vet bills incurred once ownership is transferred and the puppy is in the new owner's care.

By entering into an agreement to purchase a puppy, it is acknowledged that appropriate thought and consideration have been put into the adoption.  Ravine Acres is able and willing to facilitate rehoming if required if such an event unfortunately transpires, however is not responsible for reimbursement of any adoption costs or expenses that have been incurred from the time of adoption to the time of surrender of the dog/puppy.

The puppy is guaranteed to be free from hereditary crippling defects that we can do genetic testing for, to 1 year of age.  Our health contract covers the following:  -hip dysplasia, -elbow dysplasia, luxating patella, -genetically derived eye issues.   Should the dog develop a hereditary crippling defect such as formerly outlined within the first year of his life the buyer has the option to return the dog to the seller, the dog will be replaced with another dog of equal value when one is available.  OR or the buyer may keep the dog and 50% of the purchase price of the dog will be refunded. Proof of diagnosis from a registered veterinarian is required, all vet associated costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.  

The Seller is not responsible for the development of non genetically derived faults, diseases, or disorders, or those which are due to Buyer negligence.  The Buyer agrees to maintain the puppy in good health, provide lifelong routine preventative care for the puppy and follow all common sense advice given by the Buyers veterinarian. 

SPAY/NEUTER- The Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the puppy no sooner than 8 months and no later than 18 months of age.  Health guarantee is void if pup is spayed/neutered prior to 8 months of age.

The puppy must not be left outside or kept in a kennel for long periods of time.  Buyer agrees to provide proper exercise and to maintain this puppy in proper weight and physical shape. Buyer agrees to feed a high quality raw or kibble diet. Some choices that we encourage are outlined in our email informational package that is provided to puppy families.  Health guarantee is void if your puppy is not fed quality food.

Buyer and Seller agree that this contract will be governed by the laws of the province in which the Seller resides and may not be modified or rescinded unless agreed to in writing by both Buyer and Seller.
