Ravine Acres is a family run kennel that was established in 2007.  We only raise purebred ASDR registered toy, miniature and occasionally standard sized Australian Shepherds.  We strive to match each puppy with their prospective adoptive family, a good personality fit is a must when adopting from us.

We are located on Vancouver Island with a location in the Comox Valley, B.C. and a secondary location in Nanoose Bay, B.C..  Same quality genetics, same level of experience...additional location.  

Due to the fact that a large majority of our puppies reside Canada and world wide, we are able to arrange transportation for most locations.  See our shipping/transportation page for additional details.

Our dogs are genetically tested with Pawprints or Gensol genetics.  Parent dogs are cleared by our vet or OFA for hip, elbow and patella issues.  

We do not focus on working dogs, however we look for therapy or family friendly personalities when we choose a dog to join our breeding program.  Our dogs are our family pets, the puppies that we raise are part of our family that are included in our daily activities, which include camping, outdoor adventures, indoor cuddles and loads of playtime.  We aim to produce very well socialized, interactive and loving family members.  We are not a high volume producer, we produce only what we are able to dedicate 1 on 1 love and attention to.

All of our puppies come with a genetic health that guarantees your pup will not develop any of the diseases that we can genetically test for.  We also offer lifetime support that is backed up by a well established, long running breeding program.  We welcome all of our puppy families to join our Ravine Acres facebook page.

We have many references and an entire facebook page that includes many adoptive puppy families (currently over 900) that are happy to provide testimonial upon request.  We prefer to correspond via email (it helps me refresh my memory regarding certain adoptive details).  Our telephone contact information is shared with adoptive families prior to pick up or delivery.
